Banbu is a Spanish brand specialised in natural cosmetics free from endocrine disruptors. Its purpose is to transform daily hygiene habits into more conscious routines, offering effective products with biodegradable and compostable packaging that eliminate single‑use plastics. All products are made locally, prioritising ethical, cruelty‑free ingredients.

The funds raised through this campaign will partially finance Banbu’s strategic growth plan for 2026–2028. This plan focuses on three key areas: purchasing inventory to support the expected increase in sales, strengthening marketing and customer‑acquisition efforts, and investing in research and development. The goal is to accelerate customer acquisition, improve retention, and expand the brand’s reach into new sales channels, consolidating operational profitability by 2027.
In marketing, the investment will go towards digital advertising, e‑commerce optimisation, automation of commercial processes, and the creation of educational content on hormonal health. In research and development, the funds will support the development of new anhydrous formulas and the creation of proprietary traceability and impact software.

Implementing this plan will enable Banbu to strengthen its growth and expand its presence within the sustainable cosmetics sector. At the same time, it will help reduce plastic waste and promote more circular consumption models, aligned with a transition towards safer and more responsible personal‑care products.
Improve global resources use efficiency in consumption and production: Banbu adopts responsible production and consumption practices by using organic, vegan ingredients and compostable packaging to minimize environmental impact. The company minimizes emissions linked to transportation by locating it’s production in Spain and by producing a big part of it’s products in solid form which are smaller in size and weight.
Reduce waste generation and improve waste management: Banbu only uses reusable materials for packaging (aluminum, paper and glass). The company partners with PEFC and FSC certified paper packaging producers and 100% of the paper used is recyclable. In addition, 20% of Banbu’s products are available with refill systems, extending product life cycles and reducing packaging waste.
Promote integrated water management and conservation strategies: through the production of solid cosmetics, Banbu significantly decreases water consumption compared to conventional liquid alternatives, contributing to more sustainable water use practices.
Promoting awareness for more sustainable habits: Banbu promotes healthier and more sustainable consumption habits by formulating products with natural ingredients and avoiding substances considered endocrine disruptors. Its formulas exclude harsh or potentially harmful chemicals, instead favoring biocompatible ingredients that work in harmony with the skin, offering a safer and health-conscious alternative for consumers. Banbu conducts it’s internal LCA of the products produced, based on estimations provided by it’s producing partners, to manage the impact of it’s operations. For 2026 the company expects to avoid the emission of 334 tons of CO2, to save 442.3 thousand liters of fresh water and to avoid the production of 653 744 packaging units.

The loans granted to the promoter, BANBU COSMETICA NATURAL, S.L., by investors will be secured by the following guarantees, as set out in the loan agreements relating to the campaign:

Banbu was born from the personal story of its founder, Verónica, whose connection to hormonal health began at the age of 18, when she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and had to undergo emergency gynaecological surgery. That experience led her to deeply investigate the causes of hormonal imbalances and to uncover the silent role of endocrine disruptors present in many everyday care products.
When she realised that the cosmetics she trusted contained ingredients capable of mimicking or altering human hormones, she decided to turn that experience into a purpose‑driven project: creating safe, natural alternatives free from substances that could compromise people’s wellbeing.
With that vision, Verónica launched Banbu as a space for conscious cosmetics, where every product is formulated to respect the body and reduce environmental impact. Her leadership has guided the brand from its first developments to becoming a growing company with a clear focus on education, transparency, and access to products that support healthier routines.

Banbu is, at its core, the evolution of a personal experience transformed into a mission: offering personal care that protects both people and the planet.
Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA from the European Business School. Over 10 years of experience in sales and team management. Banbu offers a hygiene and personal‑care alternative based on natural, vegan cosmetics free from endocrine disruptors. Its value proposition focuses on effective products formulated without water and packaged in biodegradable or compostable materials, reducing single‑use plastics and promoting safer, more sustainable care routines.
The company operates through a hybrid, scalable model that combines direct sales and distribution. In the B2C channel, it operates through its online store, marketplaces, and three physical shops in Bilbao, Barcelona and San Sebastián, which serve as experience and advisory spaces. In the B2B channel, it works with more than 300 multi‑brand retailers and international distributors, expanding its reach within and beyond Spain.
Its core activities include the development of proprietary formulations, brand management, packaging design and multichannel commercialisation.
